How many more black lives will be lost before…

As a black owned publisher we will continue shining light on the discrimination black people face around the world.

Jordan Neely was a talented dancer who suffered from mental health issues after his mother was killed. He was a homeless man in New York who boarded a train confused, hungry and frustrated with life.

He was unarmed and yet, a former marine saw it fit to put him in a choke hold which eventually led to his death. He wasn’t an enemy combatant, he was a homeless civilian with mental health issues.

Jordan Neely became another black man held to a higher standard of what it means to “pose a threat” or “act violently”.

The question remains, how many more black lives will be lost before western nations like the US and UK address systemic racism?
